Now in its fifth year, Exchange returns with a new and improved programme of activity

Culminating in a week-long festival at the Byre Theatre in St. Andrews in July next year, Exchange is an opportunity for youth theatre groups to explore new ways of working and to take part in workshops led by world-class theatre professionals.

Extreme | National Theatre of Scotland

Sparked by the rush of high energy sports, Extreme is a series of exhilarating events springing up and taking flight in Aberdeen from August 2010.

This adrenaline-fuelled mix of worlds launches participants and audience members on an unforgettable journey involving sports, theatre, dance, music and art, culminating in a major theatre performance in Aberdeen, March 2011.

National Theatre of Scotland LEARN

National Theatre of Scotland Learn opens up great theatre experiences to as many people as possible across Scotland.

Since the launch of the National Theatre of Scotland in February 2006, National Theatre of Scotland Learn has created many educational and outreach theatre projects, involving over 104,000 participants and audience members, over 4,900 workshops and over 90 schools in 26 Scottish local authority areas.

Learning is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that you can’t be creative without learning and that you can’t learn without being creative.

We aim to inspire and empower so that anyone who wants to can help make exciting and vibrant theatre to be shared with audiences across the country. This way we can help create a confident, outward-looking and distinctively Scottish theatre voice.
