ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
The National Theatre of Scotland is committed to ensuring that this site is accessible to all users. If you encounter a problem accessing this site or would like to provide feedback, please email info@nationaltheatrescotland.com
This site has been developed following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 1, published by the W3C.
Standards Compliance
- All pages on this site are WCAG A approved, complying with priority 1 of this guideline and where possible priority 2 and 3.
- All pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
Alt-Text Tags
Most images on this site are accompanied with a brief alt-text tag that identifies the image or its function. If you are using a graphic browser, alt-text tags are visible only if the browser's automatic image-loading feature is turned off.
Skip Navigation
Each page on the site begins with a "skip navigation" link. Clicking the TAB key moves the user directly to the main content of the page, bypassing the long list of navigational links which appears on every page. This permits faster and easier navigation for those using screen readers or for anyone using the keyboard rather than a mouse to navigate the site.
Keyboard Access Keys
This web site supports the use of access keys, which enables the user to navigate the site using keyboard shortcuts.
To use them on a Windows PC, press (and hold) the 'Alt' key with the access key(the letters or number listed below); on a Machintosh, press(and hold) the 'Ctrl' key with the access key(listed below). Pressing the Enter key will then take you to that page. For example, to go to the home page, press 'Alt' ('Ctrl' for Machintosh users) and 1 then press Enter.
